What are your career interests and why?

I want to be a photographer because I love capturing moments of different situations. I really love candid pictures.

What does being a Lansing Promise scholar mean to you?

Being a Lansing Promise Scholar means that I’m a kid from Lansing that got to make something of myself because I was actually able to go to college. Education, especially my education at LCC has made me find a love for photography and taking pictures all the time.

What advice would you give to our future Lansing Promise scholars?

My advice to any future Lansing Promise Scholar would be, don’t take the free money for granted. And don’t be discouraged to go to a community college, don’t listen to your friends when they make jokes and make fun of you for deciding to go to a community college, it’s 100% worth it! It’s the best decision I have made to date.
