What are your career interests and why?

Species and Environmental Conservation. Our planet is in dire need of our help. We can make changes to help reverse all the negative impacts humans have had on the planet so far.

What does being a Lansing Promise scholar mean to you?

Being a Lansing Promise scholar means that I am proud of my LSD roots and was able to use them to pursue an education that will allow me to further succeed in life. The Promise scholarship aided me in paying for my college experience which took stress off of the worry about affording college. I was able to focus on my studies and really learn.

What advice would you give to our future Lansing Promise scholars?

Work hard and be passionate. Finding a field that you are truly passionate about and working hard to get there will make all the difference. Anything is possible. Truly.
